The exhibitors of London Stationery Show shared their top moments from the 2022 event. Highlights include the innovation in the Boutique Collection, catching up with industry peers and the electric atmosphere.

Over 150+ brands exhibited at London Stationery Show this year, showcasing thousands of products over the two-day event. We found out what a few had to say about their time at the show.

 

The response to London Stationery Show was very positive with 84% of exhibitor respondents saying that the overall look and feel of the show was good or excellent. There was an an easy going atmosphere at the show, with a diverse range of buyers and suppliers visiting from around the world. This made for an excellent place to conduct business due to the friendly and lively nature of those who attended. Julie Starr of FLB Group stated “Show experience was smooth, slick and one of the best trade events I have attended.”

 

Several exhibitors also noted that their ’best bit’ of the show was the coming together of the stationery industry. Roz Nazerian from Storigraphic stated that their favourite aspect was “meeting existing and new faces – learning about what’s going on with industry peers and networking.” People loved chatting and getting to know people in the stationery community, especially through the Creative Matters Workshops, which allowed the exhibitors to talk to their customers on a more personal level.

 

The Boutique Collection was particularly popular as a platform for unique and designer brands to showcase their products to a more tailored market and was especially praised amongst exhibitors. Sarah Holmes (Pencil Me In) said ”We loved this years show, a real mix of buyers from small indie shops to large prestigious department stores. It’s really opened up the opportunities of supplying a breadth of companies with our products.”

 

Exhibitors have also commented on how London Stationery Show allowed them to showcase new ranges and meet new buyers. Paul Sacki of Jakar stated “The Show was extremely good for us this year. It was a platform to show new product ranges to existing and potential new customers.” Paul Shawcross said “For Railex Stationery LSS22 has been a big success and we are already looking forward to exhibiting again in 2023. The Business Design Centre is a stunning venue, bright and airy and the size… Not being too large it allows visitors good time to spend on exhibitor stands and engage thoroughly with the sales team.”
