USA (Federal) Updated Safety Standards for Baby Tubs approved (16 CFR 1234)

On June 24, 2022, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) issued a direct final rule approving an update to the Baby bath Safety Standard (16 CFR 1234).

Each baby bath shall comply with ASTM F2670-22, Standard Consumer Safety Code for Baby Baths. The specification will come into force on 24 September 2022.
